As Chief Transformation Officer, Kim leads cross-functional projects to drive efficiencies in the business, directs companywide resourcing, and develops operational strategies for achieving Benson Hill’s financial objectives. She joined the company in 2020.
Before Benson Hill, Kim was the senior vice president of long-term planning at Post Holdings, where she worked closely with the CEO and COO to accelerate Post’s transformation into a diversified food holdings company upon its initial spinoff from Ralcorp Holdings in 2012. Prior to her tenure at Post, Kim served as the director of commodity procurement and risk management for Ralcorp Holdings, a position she accepted after leading the U.S. Grains Council’s efforts in Southeast Asia as its regional director. She began her career as a commodity trader at Cargill.
Kim currently serves as a director on the School District of Clayton’s Board of Education, where she is also Board Treasurer. She earned her MBA with a concentration in Agribusiness at Kansas State University, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin
