Kelly is a seasoned human resources professional with a breadth of experience in talent strategy, project leadership, change management, and communications.

Kelly comes to Benson Hill with 14 years of experience, most recently serving Express Scripts as Vice President, HR Strategy, Planning and Communications. During her time there, Kelly served the business as an HR Business Partner and led multiple functions including strategy planning, project management, change management, analytics, change management, employee communications, and talent management. While at Express Scripts, she served point on all acquisition and divestiture activity including diligence, valuation and integration for numerous deals, most recently Express Scripts’ $3.6 billion purchase of eviCore and the $67 billion sale of Express Scripts to Cigna. Additionally, Kelly has unique transformative experience as she led an 18-month initiative to redesign and implement an HR service delivery model that better positioned the function to deliver strategic services to the business in a cost-effective business model. Kelly began her career in Talent Acquisition as she led the function for Network Solutions, one of the largest domain registrar companies offering e-commerce and web services to growing organizations. She earned her undergraduate degree from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She served as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the foster care system.
